Sugar - non sugar
you'll probably find 100 different answers to this. Some surgeons allow it, some don't, some allow limited amounts (e.g., one cup of caffeinated coffee a day), some allow it only after so many months post-op. Mine allows unlimited decaf after three months, and one cup of caffeinated coffee per day after six months. But then some people are drinking regular coffee before they even leave the hospital, so..
I know it's against what almost every one else thinks....but I use real sugar in my 2 cups of coffee a day. I have tried all the options and just never found anything I could live with. I do make sure I accurately measure and log it. They are right and the calories add up quickly but to me that spoon in each cup is worth it.

I'm trying to find a brown sugar substitute (not for tea). I used Splenda brown sugar but it just wasn't even close to real brown sugar. Does anybody have a suggestion as to what I should use?
