End of the copper toxicity saga

Due to the internet, I stopped taking BCP earlier this year since that can cause high copper levels.  I got my copper tested last week, since I'd really like to start BCP again, but that is apparently not in the cards as my copper levels are TOTALLY NORMAL.  After a year of running 220-240 (normal is 72-166) by copper tested at 98 this week.

WOOOOOOOO!!!

Sad times, since I'd really like to go back to having nice, regulated quarterly periods, but yay rah, no more fears of copper overload!

Agreed!  And it's nice to know it has nothing to do with my surgery and has likely been an issue for years.  Which means that it's thanks to my surgery I caught it!

My LOW copper has nothing to do with my surgery either (well, that's what the docs speculate). I struggle to get my copper level above 70. I would very much like to know about the BCP you mentioned. I googled it and saw that BCP is an acronym for a business plan, and a specific blood test/analysis. Yet, it sounded like you were taking a supplement that could raise your copper level. I'd like to know more about that raising of copper level since that's what I need to do. Any light you are able to shed will be very much appreciated. Thanks!

Lol!!  BCP = birth control pills. I don't think that'll help you out :D

Well, I guess not! I guess that's one gender specific acronym! LOL!  And here I was hoping for for something that might just help get my cooper level up.
