Fitbit Users
I just started my 2 week pre-op liquid diet and I finally put my Fitbit back on. Is there anyone here who uses Fitbit who'd like to connect through the app? Just thought it might be nice to be able to have people to do challenges with . . .etc.
Thanks!

I don't have the fitbit but I'm looking in to purchasing one! What made you stop wearing yours? I haven't decided yet which model I want but I was leaning toward the watch. Which do you have? Do you find it a useful tool? I have a friend that wears one nonstop and she seems to love hers. She purchased like a drawer full of the cute little covers for them.
I have the Fit*****arge, it's the one that does most everything except your HR. From what I was reading, the HR monitor isn't very accurate. But everything else works pretty well and I like it. I'm a concrete thinker so I like seeing numbers. I only stopped wearing it because of laziness . . . I wasn't logging my food so knowing how many calories I burned was useless. But now that I'm so close to surgery, I'm keeping much better track and knowing my calorie burn will really help.

I LOVE mine!! I use it every single day! The challenges are awesome & keep me motivated! I ordered mine a week after surgery and I haven't gone a day without tracking since!

I have the Charge HR. I think the HR is fairly accurate but not direly important. I use mine like when I am at the gym and doing the intervals, getting my HR up, then waiting until it falls a little to continue so accuracy isnt dire, just trending. Also, the steps, knowing that I need to walk more. etc. I love it. I feel naked if I go to out and don't have it on. I don't wear it around the house because of things like doing the dishes, etc. It isn'****erproof. And I can't wear it while doing the water aerobics due to that fact. I also have it synced with my phone which comes in handy at times. If I have my phone on silent because of where I am at the time or forget to unmute it, my Fitbit will vibrate to let me know I have a call. Enjoy it. And good luck.. Pam
i bought the fit bit walmart had on sale lastnight ( NOT SURE WHICH ONE IT IS) but i hate wearign bracelets bc i work at a desk all day and it gets annoying. how do you guys deal with that? is is thin enough that when im typing ots not going to be so bothersome?
It's not exactly "thin" but it sits flush against your wrist, like a watch and I haven't had any issue with typing or anything like that.
