I have a similar strategy- I do a decaf expresso, 30 calories of almond milk, and sf salted caramel syrup... works reasonably well!

Had my black, unsweetened coffee with my gummy vitamins just a little while ago. Delicious, and for some odd reason, very filling.
BTW, here's a new hot drink that I'm finding very tasty and filling: Brew a strong cup of peppermint tea (the herbal mint, not black tea/peppermint combinations). Add Splenda to taste. Top off with unsweetened almond milk. It may need to be reheated in the microwave to hot it up. It reminds me of the buttermints I used to love (and still do, unfortunately). You could add chocolate powder in some form to make it a chocolate-mint drink. I haven't tried that yet.

I am a big tea drinker, and I will try this for sure! Thanks!

I do this at night a lot. Decaf coffee with sugar free creamer.

I always find it easier to go light early in the day and then PLAN for a health late night snack. it's easier to stay busy in the morning and then enjoy something at night that fits in my calories/macros because I planned for that! not saying to skip breakfast. but maybe skip a snack or have a lighter meal during the day to complensate.
