Does your stomach growl?

I was told my stomach will never growl again... but it is. Tomorrow is 3 weeks post op and my stomach growls all the time. I was on 2 weeks of liquid and a week of mushies and will continue mushies for another 3 weeks. Will the growling stop once I start to eat "normal" food?

I think that's gas and acid. Mine does it A LOT, but if I take an antacid, it stops. 

Who told you your stomach would never growl? Everyone's stomach will growl sooner or later. I've been working on the right tempo for mine, so I can set it to music.

Stop listening to them.  My stomach growls more than it did pre surgery.  I was actually sitting in a deer stand this weekend and knew nothing was going to come around as I could hear the mountain lion under my shirt......

I'm 10 months out and my stomach makes noises all the time. It's more of a gurgle I would think than a growl but it's noisy!

Mine too..  Loud enough for others to hear.  My daughter commented on it the other day at the dentists office.. 

A noisy stomach is your new normal.  I'm 5 years out and still have a lot of gurgling.  Don't mistake the stomach growling for hunger, IT'S NOT!  If you feed your stomach every time it growls, you will be feeding it all the time and you will gain weight.  Eating usually makes the gurgling louder.  Just try to ignore it...or sing along.
