It was a good day!
I am 4 weeks, 4 days out from surgery and today I played tennis for the first time since before surgery. Yes, I was a 268 pound competitive tennis player. I never saw ANYONE on the court as big as I was. But, before surgery, I was playing some of the best tennis of my life and had a great season! I wasn't sure how I was going to play today, strength-wise, but I surprised myself and played very well! The best part is that I didn't sweat profusely like I usually do and I got to balls I normally wouldn't be able to get to. I'm excited to see how I play at my goal weight. I have lost 31.5 pounds as of this morning and it's really made a difference already. I'm feeling excited and happy today and just wanted to share . . .
That's wonderful! Good for you. You'll have many more good days to come as well.
