Unflavored protein powder?
Hello Friends.... It has been a long time. I am almost 3 years out from surgery and my taste are starting to change. Ever since I was 6 months post op I have started my day with chocolate protein powder added to my coffee. Well this is getting blah. Probably because I am 39 weeks pregnant and looking for something different. I know that I need to continue my morning start with protein even more since I plan on nursing. So get to the question already... What UNFLAVORED protein powder would you recommend? I am looking to mix it with ice, strawberries and orange juice. Milk and I are not the greatest of friends
I used Jarrow and got it on Amazon.

"Collagen-based protein supplements are not a good source of high-quality protein and should not be used as the sole source of protein intake in WLS patients. Collagen-based protein supplements do not contain all of the indispensable amino acids that the body needs. When consuming collagen-based products as your sole source of protein, the loss of lean body mass can occur despite meeting your daily protein goals."

Good point. Yes, it should definitely only be used as a supplement and never replace other, whole proteins. The original post mentioned wanting an additional protein source to add to a breakfast beverage, so it didn't occur to me that it might be used as a primary protein supply. It does dissolve completely in any temperature liquid, doesn't clump, and is completely flavorless in coffee or a fruit smoothie.
