I am nearing the end of pre op insurance hoops, and I was wondering if any of you would be willing to share before and after pics with me in the comments?  I love seeing the success of others....it gives me so much hope!

Sorry I'm not sure how to post links so here a a copy of a post I did a week or so ago.  Not that far along but it does help to see your own progress.  Good luck to you!

I'm just shy of 7 weeks post-op and so far feel like I am doing really well.  The last two weeks though I was starting to get in my own head a little too much.  I was thinking that I just didn't really look any different and not noticing any changes.  Even though my husband, family, friends and co-workers were telling me otherwise.  I know my clothes are fitting different and some are even too big.  When I started this journey I remember thinking how can people not see or realize how much smaller they have gotten.  I'll never be that person.  Well it turns out I am.  I am so grateful that along with weighing I have taken measurements and pictures.  I started the day before my pre-op food diet and have done it monthly since then. 

Seeing really is believing because after taking pics this past weekend I can't believe the change just 2 months has made.  I mean I knew I had a booty but holly cow batman that thing was out there!  And still is but it's getting smaller everyday!

I am so amazed at my differences already and this is just the beginning! So for all of you starting out I would really encourage you to take pictures and measurements.  It really lets you see the changes and even though this journey is about getting healthy if we are honest with ourselves we want to look better too!

               November 1 2015.  6 weeks post-op - weight 210
