Finally! NSV

While friends and family have noted my weight loss (they know I had the surgery), I had yet to receive comments from anyone at work (they don't know I had the surgery). Today, one of my co-workers came into my office and said that she was walking behind me yesterday and noticed that I was SKINNY! HA! So far from the truth but it was nice to hear that my weight loss is finally becoming noticeable!!

YAY!! The hard work really is paying off!

Congrats on the NSV, Suzy!

As you know I lost 76 pounds before surgery and 99% of the comments I got were from family or friends who knew what I was doing. No one else seemed to notice, and I just figured it was hard to see when I was so big.

However, I ran into a former client a week after my surgery and as he approached me to say hi I could see him sizing me up. By the time he got to me he was commenting on how much weight I had lost since the last time he saw me.

I love it when my husband compliments me on 'how small' I am getting, but for whatever reason having someone outside my inner circle notice really meant a lot!

I guess we can look forward to more of this...lol!
