Anyone have an endoscopy after VSG?

I'm having some GI issues and an endoscopy is being recommended by one doctor. In the past, my surgeon seemed incredibly wary over me having one. I understand why, and they issue with my new anatomy.

Haa anyone here had an upper endo? How did it go? What did your surgeon say?

In going to follow up with him as well, but wanted to hear other experiences.

I had an upper scope three months after surgery which was ordered by my surgeon. I had no difficulties with the procedure due to my new anatomy. The gastro doctor who did the procedure said that my incision line was completely healed at that time. You should have no difficulties having an upper scope due to having sleeve surgery. I would just reiterate to whomever does the procedure that you do have altered anatomy due to a partial gastrectomy. Hope your issues are resolved soon.
