I lost 24 lbs in the first two weeks than the last two days not a pound, today I checked my weight after 3 days and I am the same as before, that is 1st time this has happened as every day before was at least a a lb or more. I am aware that there will be stalls but I was wondering if 3 weeks is common for this to happen and did they tell you any advise as how to get back to losing again or does it just happen when it is ready.

If you use the search function and type in "3 week stall" you will be FLOODED with responses. The stall at three week post surgery is VERY COMMON. Your body has been traumatized and needs a moment to take stock of what is happening. It is important at this moment that you FOLLOW YOUR PLAN to the letter. No changes, just keep doing what you were doing that resulted in the weight loss. The stall will pass, it's part of the process. Follow the plan, follow the plan, follow the plan. Now relax.

My surgery was 10/5 and I have been stalled for over a week. I put my scale away. It will come!

I wish I had a dollar for every time I saw this post! You've lost 24 lbs!! Keep on doing what you're doing and the weight is going to come off. Recognize how you feel and how your body is changing! It may not always reflect on the scale, but will reflect on how good you feel or your clothes getting bigger!
