What was your 1st actual Meal or Food you ate after Sleeve?

I had today my first real food since 10/7 surgery. It's the soft moist protein stage for me. I had a jar of 100 Calorie 9 gram protein 1 carb Gerbers L'il Chicken sticks and they went down just fine no problems. I'd say it took 15 minutes to finish. And for Baby Food they were delicious, they taste like those Vienna Sausage in the can. Not something I would ever have eaten before but for now they hit the spot.

What was your 1st real food you ate, not drank?

Are Jello and Pudding real foods? If not, then it was a scrambled egg. At 4 weeks out, I was allowed solid foods if I chewed them well. I could only eat about half of one egg. I don't feel like I had a real "meal" until I could have more than just protein. That was about 6 months out, and it was probably roasted chicken and some mashed cauliflower.

Its nice to be 2.5 years out and eating good healthy, low carb and low cal meals. I love my sleeve.

My first real food after pureed was a big plate of crab legs at Red Lobster, which is still a favorite meal. I couldn't eat many and had plenty of leftovers.

You win! I love crab, more so than lobster. I live near the ocean so we have lots of lobster which is way cheaper than the crab , at least the King Crab, the others are too much work. I'm going to go dig some steamer clams Saturday. I don't even need the butter they are delicious without it. I'm afraid to eat raw littlenecks as it is still so early since surgery. I also set some pots off pier for Scungilli, or Whelks which are snails. Love them but they are too chewy for this stage. They are plentiful now so I can freeze them.

A very gently scrambled egg. Best thing I ever ate. It was at the end of my liquids/pureed stage, which lasted 30 days. I don't remember whether I ate the whole thing, probably not.

The first that I have recorded is some mashed up roasted/fried potato segments and some oatmeal from the hotel breakfast bar the day after getting out of the hospital (yes, that's on plan - the only liquid only phase that we had was the day before surgery,) though I probably had some yogurt and a bite or two of scrambled eggs in the hospital.
