Genuinely sick or just VSG side effects?
morning everyone! 12 weeks out from VSG with a question. The last few days I've been feeling under the weather--cold symptoms, sour stomach yesterday (was only able to eat small amount of soup and tea, and even then, I didn't feel great). I took a half day from work yesterday, but felt much better this morning, so I came in for a full day.
All I've had to eat/drink today is some black tea sweetened with honey (a cold remedy I've used for years). Right after finishing what was left of my tea, I took two Tylenol. Less than 10 minutes later, I threw up and felt almost immediately better.
Do you guys think it was the honey in the tea or the Tylenol? I haven't had honey since surgery, but I nursed the tea for at least a half hour and didn't feel any ill effects until I took the Tylenol. I've taken Tylenol since surgery, but never on an empty stomach.
So, honey, Tylenol, or something else?
