Am I losing enough?

Hello, I had the surgery on the 29th of September, and as of now I've only lost 15 lbs, so that about 2 1/2 weeks. Is this normal? I was thinking I should have lost a little more than that. Please let me know if I am going in the right direction fast enough.

That's 6-7 lbs. a week so far. I'd call that a pretty darn good weight loss rate. The important thing is that you're "going in the right direction." The rate at which you lose weight will vary, but as long as you're vigilant about the type and amount of food that you eat, you will lose weight. That's the beauty of the sleeve.

Thanks for your help. I think I need to step on the scale less. I am just so afraid of failing.

I believe that's everyone's biggest fear. You're on track! 15 pounds is great! Stay focused and follow your diet as directed. You will NOT fail.....promise!

It's actually very fast, so expect it to slow down. If you can average 4 pounds a week for the first couple of months, you're doing fantastic.
