Olive oil is a good one, you can use a teeny bit of it when you cook things like chicken breast or pork.

I've noticed that Chapstick actually makes mine more chapped... I use Vaseline and it seems to heal quicker. I am in Texas also and currently using Vaseline for my dry/chapped lips. :/ I think it's the change in weather.
