Told my Parents...

I love your mom. Do you think she would adopt me? My mother (now deceased) nagged and bullied me incessantly for years to lose weight. It never worked, of course, and always made me feel terrible. I was skinny until I hit my late 40s (now in my 60s), so my mother wanted the "old" psychoticparrot back.

When you get to goal weight, I'd be willing to bet that your mother will look at your "before" photos and very quickly embrace the "new" you. She's such a sweetie.

She absolutely WOULD adopt you!    You are right, she is a sweetie and I am very fortunate.
