Back after 4 years
Hi all. I got my sleeve in April 2012. I lost 60 lbs right away and then I got off track. I gained 30 lbs back and have stayed there for three years. Now I didn't get surgery to lose only 30 lbs.
So I'm back and ready to start again. I'm eating my proteins and veggies and drinking my water. I've lost five lbs already.

You know you can do it because you lost 60 lbs. at one point. If you could do it then, you can do it again. Don't dwell on setbacks, and keep up the good work!!!

Im in a similar situation. Had the sleeve 3 years ago. Got as low as 160. I kept my weight good around 170 and I was happy (270 being my highest) I was able to maintain for about 1 year. As of today I've gotten back up to 187!! I am so upset :( I am back to basics as of today am starting fre**** is so easy to let old habits slip back in (night eating etc.) I am hopeful though! I did this once.. 17 lbs is NOTHING compared to 100 I lost!!! good Luck to yoU! We can do this!!!
Keep the momentum going which is the hardest part and easier said than done. I had my surgery January 2014 and everyone kept saying oh the honeymoon phase blah blah. I was certain that would not have happened to me...I lost my 88 pounds. I weighted myself yesterday, I had gained 10 pounds and was the same exact weight yesterday as I was a year ago...time to get diligent again.
Regain is a reality which is why it is so important to never lose sight and try to remember this is a lifestyle change, not a bullet. (I am saying this more for me than at you..if you know what I mean). Your post has really just helped me as well and I am writing this more for accountability. So thank you for posting.
We know it works when we do what we are supposed to do. Time to recommit :) See you your next 5 pounds where you better be screaming from the roof tops!
