I didn't think about aspirin, more in line of ibuprofen, etc.. Thanks for that reminder.

If it makes you feel better to have one then go for it.  I would steer clear of abbreviations though as VSG will not mean to others what it means to us.

If you want to get fancy, or you do much in the way of exercise, I'd suggest checking into something like the RoadID. I have one that I wear when cycling, and it lets me keep all of my medical information up-to-date online. It has a phone number, serial, and PIN that an EMT or doctor can use to call and get everything they might need to know-- emergency contact information, names and phone numbers for all of my doctors (including bariatric surgeon), current meds, medical history, the whole deal.
