Oh Nicki - I am so, so sorry about your loss    As for the weight gain, please don't fret about that right now.  Your body is going through a hormonal upheaval and a lot of stress, which means you are going to retain a TON of water right now.  Just stick to your eating plan and eventually your body will let go of the water and you'll see a big drop on the scale.

Hugs to you, sweetie

(((big hugs))) I'm so sorry for your loss.

I believe weight gain due to hormones is common after a miscarriage.

So sorry for your loss. I agree with the others - hormones are to blame right now. Take care!

Yup, hormones can do the trick. A lot of women see a minor uptick on the scale around the time of their periods, and this would probably be a similar situation. Your gyno can probably shed some light on this, you can ask him/her at your next appointment.

Sending love your way!

Aww sweetie I'm so sorry about the loss of your baby, just take everything easy for awhile so you body can recouperate. Keep your fluids up so you can flush the excess fluid out and keep yourself hydrated it will help all the way around. We all feel for you!

I have weighed myself about two times a week since my surgery (almost 11 months ago) and I can tell you that at my time of the month, I always gain a pound or two.  I'm not sure why, but it is definitely hormonal.  So sorry for your loss.
