One Year Anniversary
Today is my one year anniversary since VSG. It has been an amazing year! I am currently 80 lbs. lighter than I was this time last year, perfect blood stats, renewed energy and a bright outlook on my future (not to mention I look a whole lot better!). Having the surgery was the best gift I have ever given to myself. I will be 60 years old next month and plan on going whitewater rafting for my birthday celebration! Thanks to all of you who post on a regular basis. Your insights and encouragement means a lot to me!
Congrats on a GREAT year !!!!

Congratulations! What a happy message. I had weight loss surgery at 64, and I appreciate how nice it is to have more energy and new possibilities at this point in life! Enjoy the white water rafting. Great job working that sleeve!
