Yes, you should talk to your dietician. Mine told me to make sure the protein and carbs are equal in value in my protein shakes. I use EAS Complete Protein, ordered off of Amazon. Hope this gelps.

you want powder with the least amount of carbs possible.

Also, just wondering...are you aware that 70 ounces of fresh made apple juice has 880 calories and 216 gms of sugar?

70ml is only 2.3 ounces... so not much.

I follow a ketogenic diet post-op. I also have a diagnosis of binge eating disorder. Feel free to ask me about either!

I am not that familiar with grams for measuring portions, so are you getting your 60-80g protein per day? Also are you getting your fluids in as well? At least 64oz? Not drinking enough will make you feel terrible. Especially in the beginning you have to be careful not to get dehydrated.

My protein shake has fewer than 5 grams of carbs in it, and I mix the powder with almond milk since cow milk is too high in carbs for me.

Your food intake seems a bit high to me, but I only eat 3 meals of around 110 grams a day most of the time.

How much protein are you getting?  How much liquid are you drinking?

My program gave the following guidelines for protein shakes (per serving):  15+ gm of protein, 0-6 grams of carbs, fat less than 2 gm and calories between 120-150

Are you getting in 64oz of fluid?  When I do not drink enough it will cause problems for me.
