Nausea
I've been having a lot of nausea over the past few days. It has been randomly timed.... not while I'm eating or immediately after eating, not close to the time when I should be eating again... just randomly in between. I can't pinpoint a cause. I'm a little over 3 weeks post op. Any ideas?
dehydration causes nausea as does excess stomach acid. Are you getting 64+ oz of liquid a day and taking a PPI like Prilosec or Nexium?
Yes to the liquid, no to the PPI. I just saw my surgeon for my post op this week and he asked if I had any heartburn, which I don't. But then the next day I started getting this nausea. I suppose I can try a PPI and see how it affects me. I just haven't because neither my surgeon nor my dietician has brought it up.
