First of all, I would like to thank all that posted. I posted last week about my addiction to sugar and what it was doing to my weight loss progress. My post op weight was 318 and last week I was 255. I took the advice of those that posted and completely rid my pantry and fridge of my sweet treats. I also cooked most of my meals at home this week. I'm happy to report that I'm down to 251. I see the surgeon in about three weeks and I think I may be able to make my 6 month goal of 240 by then.

Im still a work in progress, and I plan to go to therapy to work through my issues with food.

Way to go, Blue!!! You are an inspiration, proof that it's possible to get back on track and turn things in your favor. This journey is not easy because we continually have to face the demons in our head that got us to obesity. You're working your way to success - making good choices and tough decisions, congratulations!

Sugar in all its forms (including processed starches like bread, crackers, potato chips, and pasta) is the prime terrorist in the war on obesity. So glad you have recognized the enemy and taken steps to eradicate it. Kudos.

Good job seeing the problem, asking for help and then following thru! None of that is easy.  Glad you are planning to get in-person help to keep it going.
