Good protein find!

I've found a new quick protein that I thought I'd share.  Brat Hans is a brand of chicken-based sausages, patties & meatballs - I think it's only sold at Whole Foods.  I got their Pesto Parmesan chicken burger.  It's 3.75 ounces, 160 calories, 22 grams of protein and NO SUGAR. They're sold two in a pack.  Not cheap - $6 for the two-pack.  But if you need a quick lunch to have on hand, they're tasty, filling and healthy!  I've also tried their dinner sausages, which are yummy as well.

Anyone have other finds like this to share?

Two of my finds are:

Quest Protein Chips - Gives you a nice crunch that is missing in most high protein low carb diets.

Enlightened Ice cream bars - Tasty Ice cream with 9 grams of protien per bar.

I've just looked up both of these.  Will have to check them out!  And Enlightened also sells crisps made of beans.  Have you tried those?

The Ice cream I found at my local HEB.  I have tried 3 flavors, chocolate that I did not care for, and the caramel swirl and the peanut butter that I like.   The quest crisp I buy from amazon and also my doctor sells them individually.  They are expensive but they are on par with a protein shakes since they provide 20 grams of protein.   I don't see the price as that bad.

Safeway has "Open Nature" brand chicken meatballs in a few different flavors that are really good. They're precooked so you just need to nuke them. 3 small-ish meatballs are 140cal, 12g protein, 2g carbs.

Trader Joe's is awesome for premade high-protein stuff. They have really good steak pinwheels with feta and spinach that I pick up whenever I can, good stuff!

Now now, Grim... we know you hate vegetables, but some of us enjoy the green stuff every so often. :)
