Well, It's the day before surgery..
So, I'm 7 days post-op and I will just reiterate to get up abc walk as soon as possible. I was walking the afternoon of surgery (I also had surgery at 7:30 am). I was able to get off the morphine drip by midnight that first night and have been off the oxy for 3 days. Everyone is different but honestly the worst part was the radiating shoulder pain from the CO2 gas....heating pad helps a lot. It is nearly all gone now. By day 3, I was walking 30-60 minutes just to get the gas out. You'll do great! Blessings and all good things!!!! Oh and I would have been bored without my smart phone and I was released next day, but I also slept a fair bit! Good luck!!!!!
I just said a prayer for you that you would be granted peace, that your surgery would go very smoothly, and that your recovery would go well. Don't worry!!! Have faith. :)
