My scale is broken
So 5 pounds from goal and last weekend I had a great food/exercise few days. Monday I hop on the scales...120 pounds....considering I weight 195 four days prior, something seemed off :) I have the weigh****chers WW52 and it just keeps showing this now. So I ordered another one. You know how every scale is just a little different? I keep thinking when the new one arrives, it will real 3-4 pound higher or lower and I'll be annoyed either way. I'm a nut bag, I know.
Did you try replacing the batteries?

The thing to remember about bathroom scales is that the number that shows up on any particular day is not important. What's important is the trend, downward or upward, over time.
My problem with the scale is that my husband and I are living on our boat until October. Depending on how much chop there is in the bay, I often get wildly fluctuating readings that vary by as much as five pounds. My husband's solution is to take three readings and average them out. My solution is to weigh myself only on the calmest of days, when boat movement is not as likely to mess up the reading. But for serious weigh-ins, I go by the balance scale at my doctor's office.
