I'm so excited the day has finally arrived. My husband and I are flying out today. Day 2 liquids and pre op day. Whoot whoot.

Congratulations.... I know you are super excited and probably nervous.   Nothing to be nervous about.  You're on the way to getting your life back.  Good luck.

Thank you everyone for your well wishes. Just ending Postop day 2. I feel so much better today and know that this uncomfortableness will pass and on we go. Swallow test tomorrow. I am nervous about it as sucking on an ice cube causes me to froth :-/. Looking forward to a hotel room verses hospital. Tijunia has been great. No problems. Everyone is so friendly and helpful and the hospital is very nice. I even have my own private room. Spacious and pretty. Dr. Kelly has been so great checking in on me twice a day. I am happy with my decision.
