Congrats!
I whole heartedly agree that this was the best decision that I have made. For those considering WLS, it will be a life changing process. I would not have done the surgery 10 years ago. In fact I went throught the process for Bypass surgery but backed out after I had gotten a surgery date.
The lifelong changes that one needs to make has to be seriously weighed. You have to be ready to adhere to those changes FOREVER.
Yesterday was my husband birthday, the first we celebrated since I was sleeved on 01/23/2015 (I'm down 62#). It was certainly a much diffent celebration than the ones in year's past. This time around I was prepared for what the surgery would entail going forward as was my husband. We ate a lovely homemade meal. I had a sip of champagne and a tiny bite of birthday cake. I ran yesterday and again this morning.
So far I've had no remorse and no food regrets. Feeling better, looking better and being fitter are so worth it.
Very nice job. Keep up the great work.
