I said I wouldn't do this...

You are ahead of most people with a 30 pound loss in 2 weeks.  Go to Resources at the top of the page and fill in the Post-Op Planner.  It will give you an idea of what to expect each month after surgery and I found it to be very accurate for me.

When you plan a journey, you need to know how far you are going and when you should expect to arrive.  Weighing daily can be frustrating but I found it is worth the frustration  to know where I am all of the time.  I never have to worry that I will have a big gain because I weigh every single day.

I have been doing this for close to eight years.  I still have things that I am working on doing better.  Getting to your goal is one big milestone, but staying there long term is the real challenge.

Use this honeymoon period to build the good habits that will sustain you for a lifetime.

Real life begins where your comfort zone ends

I never hit a 3 week stall....but the bouncing...oh yeah!!  I have done that for the past 7 months!!  I always have a couple days a week that it goes up a little (.1....2) and then a couple days where it drops!  Always about 2 pounds a week....no matter what!  Hang in there and keep doing what you're doing...you're doing great already!  I'd love that 30 pounds in two weeks!!

Stalls and fluctuations are completely normal throughout this whole process.  And they always suck!  Stick to your plan and you'll reach your goal.
