Approved Pre op.class June 4th what should I expect????

Curious anyone have this.class? 

Congrats!  I only had one seminar to go to.  It was informational about all the types of surgery and what to expect afterwards.   Good luck!

My Pre op class is tomorrow with surgery on June 16, I am suppose to have a nutrition class where they tell me about my preop diet and post op diet. I will let you know what mine consisted of also I am suppose to meet with the surgeon they said to expect to be there 3 hours total but that may just be my surgeon's preop procedures.

Had my preop class 1st we got weighed and had our pictures taken then spoke with the surgeon and signed consent form then a registered nurse spoke to us about what to expect and our NUT talked about the preop and postop diets and the surgeon came in and told us exactly what he will be doing.

Everyone's will vary a little bit. Mine focused on pre-op and post-op diet, what you can expect at the hospital and after ("this thing you might experience is normal, this other thing is not normal and you should contact us"). Also typical emotional/psychological reactions to surgery and weight loss, how to deal with old demons like head hunger and comfort eating. The exercise physiologist came and talked to us about that. We had to take a test at the end to prove we were ready for surgery and that we had paid attention in class.
