Whatcha Eating Today VSGers - Monday
Holiday today and it is the one day of the three where I am planning to go a little beyond what I should. I am making BBQ spare ribs and baked potato on the grill for dinner tonight. I will try to cut back during the day to allow for this deviation, but honestly, at 800 cals.day how much more can you cut back.
B: Yogurt, 4 strawberries, 1/2 banana, coffee
L: 3 oz tuna salad, slice of cheddar, fruit
D; BBQ spare ribs (3), baked potato (1/4)
S: if required yogurt (Dannon Light and Fit)
W: On track
E: No
V: On track.
Next.
I'm also off to a party this afternoon, so all bets are off on what I'll eat. Thank goodness for the restriction, as it limits quantity if not quality!
breakfast - salmon
lunch - chicken in spicy peanut sauce
dinner - party food - I'm bringing low carb meatballs, so they will be part of the mix
vitamins - on track
water - good
exercise - recumbent bike
Have a nice day, everyone.

Happy Monday everyone. The weather is definitely preventing the normal BBQ by the pool plans. I'm going to do some shopping, hang out with some friends and just relax. My big goal for the day is to drink lots and lots and lots of water so that I am good and dehydrated for the IV that I'm getting tomorrow for some of the tests they are running.
B: Steel Cut oatmeal & protein shake (pre & post workout)
S: 2 oz raspberries
L: I will be on the go so perhaps some Chick Fil A chicken nuggets or possibly an In N Out burger protein style. Depends on location.
S: Beef Jerky
D: Grilled Chicken
W&V: On track
E: Boot camp this morning plus 2 1/2 mile walk. I wanted to make it a full 3 miles but the trails are all mucky from the rain.

I'm listing today as an example of what NOT to do:
B: Overslept and skipped it
L: Cheese and strawberries (not bad)
D: Chicken/veg curry (better nutritionally)
W: Way behind; don't know if I can catch up
V: On track
E: Changing positions on my Lazy-Boy.
It's so easy to get caught back up in bad habits. Will do better tomorrow.
