I have been home from the hospital for 4 hours. I'm going to hopefully get some sleep tonight since they sure don't let you get any sleep at the hospital. I'm so glad to be on my way to being a healthy me.

I had my surgery on the 20th and you are so right about getting sleep. My nurses and techs checked on me every hour. They were very polite and kind but I just wanted to sleep. LOL.

I hope your recovery is easy.

We had our surgery on the same day. I hope your recovery is easy also. So far I'm sipping and trying to walk around in my house to relieve the gas pain. I have had the hiccups some put haven't passed any flatulence. Lol.          Beverly

I have not had hiccups yet and have passed some gas so far.

Been sipping on water and and have had a protein shake.

Right now I am in recliner and have a heating pad on my belly. It does seem to be helping some.

My favorite thing so far was taking a shower and washing my hair.

Lol takes very little to make me happy right now

I'm going to give the heating pad a try. So far I'm ok. I have found that liquids at room temperature cause less pain. I'm so glad to not be having any hunger issues.
