How soon did you go back to work (50+ years old)?
29 days to my surgery - whoo-hoooppp! Going in for anaesthesia pre-op tomorrow. My boss wants to know: how long will I be out??!! TIA!
I've been fat, and I've been thin - and thin is better.

I'm 51 years old, went back on week 3 but at just 30ish hours instead of usual 40 hours. I would have liked to have gone back at 40 hours that first week but my doctor didn't have appointment times available that supported that. But, in the end, I was glad to have lighter schedule that first week. On week 4, I was back to full schedule with pretty normal energy.
Enjoy!

I was 56 when I had surgery. I took a little more than two weeks off, only because Labor Day was in there and I had my 2-week follow up with the surgeon the day after. I did, with prior permission from the surgeon, work from home a couple of hours a day the second week. I was quite tired the first week, but by week two it was better. Standing was the only thing that wiped me out at that point. Good luck!
