Did anyone's hair come in fuller than before?

For those of you lost hair due to the VSG, when it came back, did it come in fuller than before? I am asking because I already had thin hair...I am at 3 1/2 months and I am beginning to lose it. I am hoping the positive side of this that I will get fuller hair when it returns. :-)

My hair was originally very thick, lost a bunch w/ my first pregnancy,

at surgery it was thin and  limp, started taking biotin 2500 2x a day,

lost a ton more (see scalp thin...YIKES) by 6 months out I started to see

regrowth and now my hair is thicker than it has been in almost 20 yrs!

Thanks so much for letting me know that. My hair started thinning terribly when Menopause started, and has never grown back. Now I have hope that maybe when it grows back after this VSG hair loss time, I will get more than I had...I would love to have the thickness of hair I had 20 years ago. :-)

My hair seemed thicker when it started to grow back because I had a ton of little new-growth spikes poofing my longer hair out.  I got a long, choppy bob haircut to blend it all together.  Now that it's growing longer, it is the same thickness as before, I think.  I have always had a lot of hair, lost a lot of hair but still had a "normal" head of hair.

A friend from my support group had her straight hair grow back curly, so that can happen too.

It freaked me out at first that I had so much hair falling out when I washed it! I cut into a cute bob and I never noticed the loss when styling! With that being said my hair is fine, but I have a ton of it! Right now I have a bunch of new hair growth!

Nope. I have very fine hair, and when it grew back post-op it was just the same as before.
