It took a while between when the program said they would send the documents, and it actually happening. I think it was levels of bureaucracy at the hospital. I just made lot of phone calls until it finally happened. On the bright side, I had an answer from insurance within a few days of their receiving the paperwork.
Best of Luck,

My things were supposed to be submitted the 2 Fridays ago, I've called insurance twice and they aren't even seeing where it was submitted. I'm so frustrated. Could someone fill me in on what's going on and has anyone else had this issue?
unless there is someone on the site who works in your surgeons office or the insurance company office,I would say no one can tell you that and it is best to keep calling the surgeon.

If insurance doesn't have it, the problem must lay with your surgeon's office. Call them and find out if and when they submitted.

Yesterday after days of calling my Dr faxed my reports...the weight loss center called to.confirm they were all there BUT not my blood work so I had to call back ask them to fax that ...I wonder how many calls it will take before they will actually fax it?? And im just waiting for them to call me telling me the Dr screws the Drs notes up...you know he left out information he needed to include every month...I just have no luck lol wait and see you will see a post from me ranting about it can just feel it lol good luck and keep us posted on your surgery date :)
That sounds a lot like my situation. They supposedly finally submitted it Tuesday afternoon. Only good thing is supposedly blue cross blue shield is pretty quick with giving an answer. Just frustrating knowing all that time was wasted and the fact they didn't even bother to look at my file and submit anything until I had insurance call them.
