I guess I should have read all the posts prior to posting.  I'm glad you took her to the hospital, keep us posted.  I am praying for her.

Kidney dr said part of it might have been her high blood pressure went away with her 155lb loss, and her normal drs didn't notice and take her off of her blood pressure meds. He said veey low pressure is hard ont he kidneys. Normal drs kust thought she had to drink more.

Drink your water and make sure dr monitors blood pressure.

She is expected to recover slowly, but he warned he cant say for sure it would be 100%.

Sorry about the delay in an update. She got better and came home from the hospital on thursday. She is very serious now about hydrating. She is upset to have gained 15lbs since hospital.

She is having trouble drinking more than 40oz of fluid a day, even though she is trying hard. The shake yesterday (six star whey protein fom walmart) made her nauseous for a couple hours after finishing it.

Ill have to read the forums to see if others have physical difficulty drinking as much as 64oz of fluid a day

Glad to hear that she is getting better.  There are many different kinds of protein shakes and powders. Look at the top of the website under products for brands and ratings. Most are available online, if you can't find them in stores.  If you keep trying, you can find some that aren't going to cause nausea.  I prefer Unjury, but others get nauseous from them.  It's very individual.

Best Wishes
