6 week post op tomorrow, Tylenol burns and gives me heartburn.

I have suffered from knee and wrist pain since I was a child. I take Tylenol about 5 days a week to control the aches. Well lately Tylenol has been giving me really bad heartburn and I believe it irritates my stomach. Is this normal? What can I take :(.

I think this is best asked of your surgeon. Are you taking a PPI?

Are you taking pills? Maybe the liquid would be easier on you tummy? My post op pain med was liquid Tylenol with codeine.
