Yay for surgery on Friday! i'm starting to get nervous. I am excited for the changes it will bring but I'm super nervous about the procedure and recovery.

Any last questions that I should ask my doctor before surgery? Anything I may not have thought of that you wish you would have before hand?

I'm all packed, the apartment is spotless and I have clothes laid out for before and after surgery. All my shopping is done, I have a wide array of things for after surgery just in case my tummy goes haywire and decided it doesn't like anything.

You'll do great! Remember to walk as soon as you can after surgery! It was the best advice I got! Also SIP!! Get  your water in!

My best tip for when you are allowed to have liquids after surgery is learn to breath out through your nose when you sip so you don't swallow so much air. I had to post n here a few days in because it hurt. Breathing out when you drink helps SOOOOOO Much!

I only took clean underwear and PJ pants to the hospital so i could wear them under my hospital gown. Headphones so you can listen to any music on your Phone or Ipod if you are taking it.

How very exciting! We'll be thinking of you and hoping you have a speedy recovery. Be sure to communicate to the nurses if you start feeling pain or nauseous. They'll keep you comfortable. Good luck.
