I hope that someday I won't need to drink a protein shake every day but I still don't meet my daily protein goals without that darn shake. I've just accepted that it's part of my new life. Luckily it's pretty easy for me to chug one down first thing in the morning.

I'm ready for the weekend too!  Taking a trip to beautiful Jackson Hole to visit an old friend.

B: Greek yogurt and granola

L: leftover steak with parmesan bacon sauce (it is so yummy!)

D: burger cups (I saw this on Facebook.  You shape the hamburger around the bottom of a can and then fill the hole with whatever...I put bacon, jalapenos and cheese in mine last time.   I added an egg and some seasoning to the burger.  The egg helped it hold its shape while cooking.  It made my burger more interesting and I missed the bun less.)

W: on track

V: on track

E: weights at noon with friend and then exercises at home this evening

The burger cups sound interesting. I may have to give those a try.

Yum. I really like Panera broc cheddar soup. One of the patients that was in physical therapy with me manages a Panera. I forget how much broc cheese soup he said they go through in a day but it was a massive amount. My mind was boggled (probably why I don't remember the #).
