It is so odd, but until I lost 60 pounds, no one noticed my weight loss. Now, all of a sudden, people are saying, "You have lost weight! You look great!" :-) I have not told people about my WLS (Only my husband and my daughter). I guess I must have hid my overweightness well. :-) It is fun to get the compliments, but the nice thing about not getting them until now is that I was so happy with my weight loss and how much better I was feeling, I really didn't care if others noticed. For me, it has been ALL  about better health. :-) Kay

Congratulations on losing 60 Pounds!  Great job working that sleeve!  I had a similar experience where I didn't get any comments until I lost about 60 pounds, too.  It surprised me at the time.

Keep up the good work.

Congratulations on your wonderful success Kay!  I think it was just about at the 60 lb. point that I started getting comments too.  I guess starting out at close to 300 lbs., the first several pounds didn't show much on me.

I was in the same boat too; it took a loss of 50 to 60 lbs before people really started to notice. You're in good company!

Congrats on doing so well... keep up the great work! It truly IS all about better health in the long run!
