It's wet and drizzly here today. We can definitely use the rain so I won't complain too much. It's a perfect weather to be lazy in bed but that I have this pesky little thing called a job that prevents that from happening :)

I'm 10 days post-op so my menu consists of lots of liquids and protein shakes!  :)  I'm hoping to be released to pureed foods after my appointment today and can't wait!

If it's any consolation, I was MUCH sorer after my consultation than I was after starting training.  During the consultation they push you really hard to figure out where your limits are (both too easy & too fatiguing.)  I think I had trouble walking and moving my arms for 5-6 days after my consult.  After training for the past 2 months, I haven't been that sore since!

THANK YOU.  Oh my gosh.  I've been really worrying about this!  I've got my first real session next Wednesday and a 5k on Saturday and I've been feeling pretty concerned that I'll still be super sore at my race.  Which is a mistake I made for my last race!  (I tried out a new fitness class two days before the last race - stupid idea!)

Thank you so much for this reassurance.  You have no idea how much I appreciate it!

It's the least I can do... You've given me acres of advice and reassurance over the past 3 months.  I'm happy to give you something of value!
