3 week stall
Okay. I have officially hit the three week stall. The scale has not moved for 5 days!!!! Thank goodness for this forum because if I hadn't read about this from all y'all I'd be freaking out! I am frustrated but trying to be patient!
I still have one incision (on my waist line) that still pinches and is tender. I can't wait until that heals so I can wear jeans again and see what size I am in! I'm hoping my size is going down while the scale is not!
Thanks everyone for the "heads up" about the stall
There ya go! You know what to expect and although it's frustrating, it's not throwing you off track. Focus on measurements and being dedicated to your plan, and you'll stay on the path you're on. Keep up the good work and the positive mindset. :)
Sleeved 6/12/13 - 100 pounds lost to get to goal!
Yup, what Charlotte said. Things are easier to tolerate when you know they're coming.

I hit about 2 and a half weeks in! Stalled for five days, and then my weight went UP four pounds overnight! I was like... WTH! But someone asked if my protein intake had gone down... it had, as I was out of the protein shakes I liked. Upped my protein again and that same 4 pounds (plus a friend or two) came off the next day. :) Hang in there. :)
I hit my three week stall almost exactly on my 3rd week after surgery. Now that its a little more than 2 weeks after that, the scale started being my friend again. I definitely think it also has to do with protein intake as right when you start adding solid foods, its hard to get the protein in. It took me a week and a half to figure out that red meat just doesn't agree with my sleeve.
