How LONG did your 3 week stall last?
I thought super-heavyweights like me were supposed to drop weight pretty rapidly when first starting out? I literally stopped losing just 10 days after surgery. :( My weight has been up and down, up and down in the same 10 pound range for the last 11 days. I'm 3 weeks and a couple of days out. It's making me paranoid. :(
Average day for me:
70+ oz. water
70 g. protein
Sample daily menu:
Breakfast: Double-scoop protein shake with milk
Lunch: 1/4 c. pureed chicken
Dinner: same as lunch or similar - always high-protein
How long did YOUR "3 week stall" last? :( While I'd love to hear from anybody/everybody, if you're a super-heavyweight like me I'd especially love to hear from you!
My week 3 stall lasted three weeks! Seriously. Weeks 3-6, the scale never moved! It was so darn irritating.
However, I took my measurements and photos and even though the scale wasn't moving, obviously something was going on because I lost 12+ inches off my body in those three weeks. It was so amazing!
If you are following your plan (water, protein, vitamins), then just have patience. Trust the process. It WILL happen for you too.

Mine also lasted 3 weeks!! I was so frustrated!! I wasn't drinking enough, so I thought maybe it was that. I also wasn't reaching my protein. My plan allowed for lentils and chili, even though I was only able to have a tablespoon or two. I stopped having the lentils and chili since they had carbs and started dropping again.
But I was so super frustrated! My biggest fear for the surgery wasn't that I would have complications from surgery- my fear was it wouldn't work.
Keep it up- it will work out!!
