I am just starting and seem to always feel like everything gets stuck in the middle of chest. Is this normal?

Not sure if you are still on liquids or have moved on to purered foods.  If liquids, take very, very small sips and try not to have any liquids that are too cold.  If you are in the puree stage, eat very, very slowly and take very tiny bites.  (And don't have more than you are supposed to have).  It could also be acid or reflux.  Are you on a PPI medication?  I am sure there are others that can give you additional advice.  Take care!

Well im not sure if it's normal, but I'm almost 2months post op and I've been having this feeling ever since surgery. I had a ct scan of my chest and was assured there was nothing stuck, it kinda feels like indesgestion but idk. I do take a ppi every day and that doesn't change anything!  I'm sure nothing's stuck, your still on puréed foods I'm assuming? As long and your not vomiting or have a fever I wouldn't worry about it too much!

Thank you all it seems I may be pushing myself to fast. Yes I am just starting phase II, puree foods. So small and s l o w is the way to go. I may be drinking to fast I have to remember it is a funnel now and not a straight pipe through. Not as easy as I thought.

Thank you again and good luck to you all.

I'm 5 days out and have the same issue.  Its almost everytime I drink.  I am sipping. Not sure how to take less of a sip.  I got a little dehydrated yesterday because I was so concerned about having the pain.

Its aggravating!

Don't cut down on liquids - they pounded that into my head. Maybe take more time between sips - Good Lick

That was/is my "full" feeling.

take it slow, go back a  food stage if it is troublesome.
