Is this normal???
OK. I'm 4 1/2 months out from surgery. I do know I'm a fairly slow loser. LOVE my sleeve! However, I don't understand it sometimes. I've been hovering around the same three lbs. I lose them. Then I gain them back. This has been going on for about 3 weeks. Not the first time either. Drives me NUTS!! I'm eating under 800 calories a day, 80-100 gms. of Protein, under 30 gms. of carbs, and at least 100 ozs. of water daily. Am I doing something wrong? Or should I just stay off the damn scale, stay the course, and suck it up. LOL
Sounds pretty normal to me! Just have patience.

You're not eating very many calories. You might try adding some up to @ 1000\day, (I lost all my weight on 1000-1200, so it CAN work for some). I've maintained an exercise schedule of 4-5 times per week on a stationary bike at home, so regular, but not super-intense. I also made a point to vary my intake day to day... 1000 one day 1200 the next and tried to vary my fat\carbs day to day as well while maintaining at 80-100g of protein always. I'm not a nutritionist, but this is what worked for me. Also, weighting too often will make you crazy. Try cutting back to no more than once per week.
Sweat is fat crying
What they said!! My NUT said to up my calories to 1200, but I was scared to death it would slow me down! What it did do though, was to make it so I didn't worry about it if I had a day that I just wanted/needed to eat more (not off plan, just more of it). It has worked great for me. I will say that I have gone up and down weekly (drives me crazy), and in all honesty as many ups as downs. But staying the course overall I will reach my original goal by the time I'm six months post-op (2 more weeks). Oh....and I weigh every day...can't help myself!! You're doing great...hang in there!!
Also, keep focused on the overall picture...You have lost an incredible amount of weight so far! This is a journey, not a race. And everything you learn on the way will help you be successful in Maintenance! :-)
