Stalls are very normal for any WLS.  If you look at the magnifying glass at the top right corner and type in 3 week stall you will see tons of threads on it.

Though I did notice that you are not getting enough protein and water in.  Have you tried different temps for the water or adding a flavor to it?  That may help you with drinking more.

If you continue to have issues with getting anything in I would make a call to your surgeon and let them know what is going on.

Stalls are normal. But you need to start drinking a lot more, or you will start to be ill.

You need to be drinking a lot more water and try another protein drink as well. If you're not careful, you could end up extremely dehydrated and visiting an emergency room. However, when you are going through a period of no weight loss, you most likely are shrinking in size. I know this does not make any sense, but that is how it works at times.

Thanks for the info...I am trying different things to get more protein and water in...right now to shakes and 64 ounces of water seems like a whole lot to get in but I know it will get there.  Just wanted to be sure this was all normal :)

I had my sleeve the day after you on 3/3. I lost 27lbs the first 11 days (10 of it was from Iv fluids), but I  haven't lost anything else in the past 10 days. I wasn't surprised as I've heard about this stall at 2-3 wks but it really sucks. Can last 2-4wks even i guess but then it picks right back up dropping. Just keep following your plan is what i keep reading. Anyway, I also suggest getting alot more fluids in and protein too. I am on a pureed diet not sure about you but they allow me to have tuna salad and cottage cheese which was a lifesaver to be able to get some decent protein in with actual food and tuna (which I never used to like but now love for some odd reason) has tons of protein in it, also dannons  light and fit strawberry Greek yogurt is easy to eat and has good amount of protein in it.... but track everything you eat with an app like my fitness pal because it also adds up your protein and everything else for you and it's really helpful. Broth made it easier for me to up my fluids and powerade zero too. Good luck. Also you're only 3wks 2 days out. Give yourself a break and just know the stall is normal.

Thanks, think I need to keep track of everything a little better because I do yogurt and applesauce and Popsicle right now

Oh and all your clears and milks you use for shakes or food prep, and jello things like that all count towards your 64oz fluid goal.

One thing too I just did actually to make myself feel a little better was tried on some clothes that I'd just tried on a week or so ago and they fit much differently, better, so even though the scale isn't moving, I believe my body is still changing and losing inches etc. So you probably are too.

Stalls are totally normal.  However, you're not getting nearly enough protein, you're having too many carbs, and your water intake is dangerously low.  Work on getting your protein and liquids in, skip the applesauce, and sip all day!
