Well looks like I might get surgery after all this coming Friday.

I posted on here that my flight was cancelled, surgery was cancelled and that my family took this as a sign from god and refused to help me or support me with surgery.  6 weeks later and I'm rescheduled, weather looks good and family is still iffy but just going with it. I am now scared and going through mixed emotions.. Wish me luck, what should I have handy and get for this Friday, thanks.

I was at Mass on a Sunday morning in June. The priest said that he knew some of us were farmers and praying for God to send some needed rain.  Others were having high school open houses and praying for great weather that day. 

The moral of his story was that God does not get involved in weather. 

Weather just happens and God did not send bad weather so you would not have surgery. 

Everything will be fine and soon you will be on your way to your new life.
