Does anyone else get hiccups after every meal like me?

I eat slowly & chew everything well, but I get hiccups all the time! They don't last long and don't hurt, but I find it funny. Anyone else? I'm just over 3 weeks out.

I only get hiccups if I've eaten a bit too much. It hasn't happened at home because I weigh everything, but it's happened when we are out to dinner with friends.

A hiccup is my full signal.  I'll get ONE.

I get them a lot too.  But, I think it is because I eat too fast.  I try and chew slow.  But, I have always been a fast eater.   Working on it!

I just did a search about this and most people say they get them from either eating too fast or too much.  (I will have just a couple, but I think mine are from eating to fast.)  From my search, it seems like it happens to alot of WLS people.

This happened my first few months post-op. Hiccups or a runny nose were my full signal.

Same as Grim.  If I start to hiccup, I've had one bite too many.  My nose also runs when I'm full (rarely happens, but it does)!!

I get frequent hiccups now, too! I do think this happens after I eat too fast... sometimes it's just after a single-serve cottage cheese! I feel like a drunken sailor. But, the surgery was still worth it. :)
