Good for you with getting in the liquids. I know it gets said a lot on OH but sip, sip, sip. It will help your recovery tremendously!

I had a bad night last night.  I had a board meeting where my board was planning on replacing me (I resigned a few weeks ago)  and they wanted me there to help plan the transition.  There is one particular board member who bugs me and he was in rare form last night.  I just sat there and ate cookies and cheese and crackers like I used to do before my surgery.  There was no limit to what I could eat.  I was really stressed and I used the food- not that it helped...  This is a sobering lesson - we can fall into those old habits.

So today, I'm being very careful on the plan:

Breakfast - chicken with artichokes and sun dried tomatoes - yum

Lunch - pulled pork - also yum

Dinner - stuffed green pepper - triple yum.

snack - probably wheat thins and hummus, but I might try a piece of spinach lasagna to avoid the carbs after yesterdays debacle.

water - good

vitamins - on track

exercise - recumbent bike - soon

Good for you, getting back on track right away!  I'm so impressed!  I'm terrified that once I slip (which will happen because I'm human), that I won't be able to get my ass up off the floor again.  That was my past history on Weigh****chers.  I'm going to save this post for that day!!!  Thank you for being so inspiring!

I'm also very impressed at you for immediately reigning it in. I also really like that it sounds like you aren't beating yourself up. You made some bad choices, acknowledged it and you are taking steps to fix it. I think that's great. I hope that I handle the same situation in a similar manner.

I've dealt with difficult board members like that too, letting them get to me and then eating out of frustration.  There's a saying in 12-step programs: Slip, don't fall.  You did great by not falling.  Well done.
