OMG, I've lost 16 lbs since surgery, Dr wants to see a 12 lb loss in 6 wks. Somebody help me  organize this. I got the fitness part but I'm not eating enough nor drinking enough. When I see people who don't even walk lose 20, 25 lbs a month I feel like why not me? ok. I'm organizing a small journal and I'm gonna make this happen, I'll take all the help I can get. Thanks. 54 more lbs to go

Welcome back.  I haven't seen a post from you since just before your surgery.  I wasn't sure if I was just missing them or if you hadn't posted.  I'm glad your surgery went well.  Good luck with the weight loss before your next hospital visit.

What, exactly, are you eating every day?  Give us a sample day and we can give you advice.

You need to get enough water in.  64 ounces minimum - drinking should be your job right now.

It would be wise for you to track your food every day.  Even if you don't want to count calories or use something like MyFitnessPal, it's a good idea to at least keep a record of what you eat every day.

The people who lose far more in a month without exercise likely have MUCH more weight to lose before they hit goal than you do.
